How to access blocked Telegram channels on iOS

Important information

The methods presented below solve the problem, but have a number of limitations:

• Only the channels to which you were subscribed before the blocks are unblocked;
• searching for new ones will not be available and you can only unlock them by going directly to them.

These restrictions are due to apple's policy on inappropriate content, so they cannot yet be completely removed.

Method 1: Client for computer

The easiest method to solve the task at hand is to use one of the variants of the messaging client application for the desktop operating system (Windows or macOS).

      Enter the official Telegram website and open the section.

      Open the Telegram website

      Then find the block "Desktop Applications" and click on the link "Telegram for Windows / Mac / Linux".

      Especially for macOS s. The Mac App Store client version is not suitable for our purpose.

By default, the version corresponding to the platform from which you accessed the site is displayed: for a Windows computer the corresponding package will be displayed, for a device with macOS the installer in the system's standard DMG format.    3. Install the software by following the on-screen prompts.

   5. Once the interface is loaded, click on the three bars to access the settings, then click on «Settings».Anger "Privacy".

      Scroll through the list and toggle the switch "Deactivate restrictions"..

Channels that were previously unavailable should now be opened. Please note that your header avatar images will not display.

Method 2: Web version of the software

An alternative method, which does not require uninstalling the finished application, is to use the web version, available both on your computer and on your own iPhone / iPad.

The web version of Telegram

Follow the link above in any modern browser (Microsoft Edge will do) and to your after the page loads; the principle is the same as step 4 of the above method. You can also access the correct version from the official messenger website: on the page linked in mode 1, scroll to the web application block and select a versions, for example, WebK.
2. Then access the settings in the same way as in mode 1; the only difference is that the default language for this version of the software is English.
