Bio Inc. – Biomedical Plague: playing Dr. Death
Bio Inc. – Biomedical Plague is a cynical game, but unusually entertaining. It's a bit like Plague Inc, but here you don't need to spread the disease to the whole world. The task of the new simulator from DryGin Studios is simpler: bring a patient to death.
All human life has to do with medicine and doctors. Even the healthiest body can fail, be injured, and end up in the hospital. No one would think that a doctor is capable of intentionally causing harm. In Bio Inc. – The biomedical plague is a reality. Here the player does not save the patient, he has to kill him, and as quickly as possible.
There are many ways to bring the victim to death. The player has access to all vital systems of the patient, can influence the appearance of bad habits and treatment.
The game consists of increasing difficulty levels. First you have to kill the most insane patient with a bunch of bad habits. Those who care more about health will follow. First it will be the hypochondriac who cares too much about his state and has a rickety nervous system, then the athlete, the healthy person, the immortal and some more challenging levels.
By accessing the victim's body, the player can develop one of his many diseases. To do this, it is necessary to collect the viruses that appear in the vital systems of the body: skeleton, nerves, muscles, digestion. Viruses are points with which the player will acquire bad habits and diseases for his patient.
Once enough points are accumulated, you can proceed to plague and reward your ward with some kind of disease. At first they will be easily curable diseases, but they can have more serious consequences. This is what to get.
By making a person suffer from stress, for example, we immediately aggravate the situation by developing bad habits. There are not many options yet. You can make the victim a workaholic and continue to paralyze his nervous system, or you can make him an alcoholic and hit him in the liver. Every bad habit opens up new possibilities of developing more serious diseases. It is essential that the immune system is weakened so that the patient does not recover quickly and is at greater risk of becoming ill.
At the first stage, it is possible to harm the victim with impunity. As long as the values of one of her organs do not fall below 50%, the patient will not go to the doctor. Once the treatment has been istered, the player will begin to fight with the medics. But even here it can interfere with the course of recovery. The same points are used to buy a strike from nurses and doctors and the healing time is delayed several weeks. You can replace all medication with a placebo or instill in the victim a persistent fear of the hospital, so that they do not seek help for a longer period of time.
When several of the patient's vital signs are low, they will end up in intensive care. This is where the most difficult part of the game begins. Intensive treatment will be istered, and during this time the player will have to bring all remaining stats to a minimum. If they succeed, the victim will die and the player will unlock the next level with a more difficult case. If not, the doctors win and the lucky patient lives to a ripe old age.
The anatomical details of the human body systems are done so well and in such detail that the game can serve not only as a fascinating entertainment, but also as an aid to the study of anatomy.
Bio Inc. – Biomedical Plague is addictive thanks to interesting gameplay, quality implementation and a very interesting idea.
